Modurn day is relatively easy if you have the right plants such as the Jalapeno and Homing Thistle. The plants are really great and all, but the zombies counteract them. This was my fav world, but now it's just difficult. THE STUPID JESTER ZOMBIE IS THE HARDEST IN THE GAME. There are fun ideas, but not good plants.ĭark Ages are difficult yes. This world works great with the plants it gives.
Lost City is my favourite world for many reasons The iceberg lettuce is now practically useless! And, instead of the snow balls power, we have extremly expensive fire! The gargantuar had THREE imps, and the moving tiles are the actual WORST. It has some annoying zombies (Looking at you Mr chicken man!) And it doesn't give you as good as plants as the others, apart from the melons. Pirate seas does have since annoying levels, but that's all.Īnother decently easy world. These two worlds are really great beginners and give you plants that can be used all the way through the game. If there's one redeeming quality though, Tiki Torch-er as an Endless Zone is extremely fun, and one of my favorites. Horribly balanced zombies, the plants in Part 1 are terrible (and Part 2 isn't much better), and a very stupid and unpredictable gimmick that limits A LOT of strategies from working. I seriously hope we get some more worlds (if we even get another one) in 2017 that aren't as lazy or cheaply made as Modern Day. While the levels can be pretty difficult at points, this world in general is just a bad cop out of the real thing. Horribly executed, and not a really a true final world, more of a just a fan service world if anything. Since, I'm biased against this world (since it is my least favorite, maybe besides Modern Day), this is all I'll say. Also, this Endless Zone is really stupid. The zombies here can be really stupid, and the gimmick is far too unpredictable for my tastes. It wasn't until I the second time around when I thought of a good way to beat it. The Endless Zone is pretty fun, but I've never got far in it.ĭifficult, and I had a lot of problems with Side B the first time around. Pretty difficult, since there are a lot of annoying zombies here, but the right plants can be all the difference here. Also, the Endless Zone here is extremely hard. With good plants, this world can be a decent challenge, though it is very lazily designed. Without good plants, this world is miserable. And it's surprisingly somewhat difficult for a first world, though later plants and premiums make this world a cake walk. The Endless Zone here can either be really easy, or really hard, depending on the zombies you get. Not very hard, but it can get stale quickly with all of the though zombies all over the place. Though the endless zone is fairly easy, it's still loads of fun. The gimmick is very good here, and it doesn't feel very repetitive. Though the difficulty can be all over the place, it can still be pretty fun.
Also, Big Bad Butte is one of my favorite endless zones. If you were to talk to me in say, version 1.6, then Wild West would probably be my least favorite world (since it was hard for the time, and it didn't feel fun to play), but as the game has evolved, the Wild West has just become more interesting and fun. On the other hand though, since the plants over time have gotten more powerful, this world can be an absolute blast. It's levels can be fairly challenging, as there are some dangerous zombies here. While the gimmick is quite boring, and the Endless Zone is laughably easy, Lost City's normal levels still provide quite a bit fun still. The zombies here are quite varied, and your plants need to be just as diverse in order to defeat the zombies (outside of Fume-shroom and Laser Bean, which are the real super stars here). Lost City is also a great world, but it is a bit more boring and tedious compared to FC. While FC does have it's share of annoying zombies, and the endless zone can be quite difficult, Frostbite Caves still remains my favorite world in PVZ2. It allows you to mix up your plants in such a way where it feels like almost anything is viable. It provides a good layer of challenge, without being too overwhelming.
Frostbite Caves is very well designed in my opinion.
